1/35 Russian S60 Tractor - Thunder Model TM35400

The Thunder Model TM35400 1/35 1/35 Soviet S-60 Tracked Artillery Tractor is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The S-60 was the Soviet Union's primary heavy tracked artillery tractor of the Cold War era — a powerful vehicle used to tow the heaviest Soviet artillery pieces including the 152mm and 203mm howitzers. Based on the Stalinets S-80 bulldozer chassis, the S-60 served with Soviet artillery from the mid-1950s through the 1970s and was exported widely to Warsaw Pact and client states. Thunder Model's S-60 is a uniquely detailed kit of this important Soviet heavy tractor.
