1/35 German G10 Guterwagen - Thunder Model TM35901

The Thunder Model TM35901 1/35 1/35 German G10 Gütertwagen Boxcar is a premium 1/35 scale kit from Thunder Model. Thunder Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has built a strong reputation for producing highly detailed 1/35 scale kits of engineering, transport, and utility vehicles — subjects that other manufacturers have largely ignored. Their range covers US Army engineering tractors and heavy wreckers, the British Scammell Pioneer family, LRDG patrol vehicles, German railway wagons, and other specialist subjects that are available from no other manufacturer in 1/35 scale.

The German G10 Güterwagen (freight wagon) was the standard covered boxcar of the Deutsche Reichsbahn — a ubiquitous wagon type that carried military and civilian freight across the European rail network throughout the Second World War. These boxcars transported everything from ammunition and equipment to horses and personnel, and appear in period photographs of virtually every German military railroad operation. Thunder Model's G10 is an important scenic accessory for any WWII European rail diorama.
