1/35 German Artill. Crew Mörser Karl ( 8 Figuren) - TRUMPETER 00409

The Trumpeter 00409 1/35 German Artillery Crew (Mörser Karl) is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Trumpeter, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of large-scale warships, 1/35 military vehicles and helicopters, and specialty military subjects.

The Mörser Karl (Gerät 040/041) was Germany's most powerful self-propelled siege mortar of WWII, firing a 600mm or 540mm projectile weighing up to 2,170kg. Only seven were built and they served in the sieges of Brest-Litovsk (1941), Sevastopol (1942), and Warsaw (1944). The enormous crew needed to operate these behemoths — from ammunition handlers to elevation crews — makes them compelling diorama subjects. This figure set provides artillery crew in authentic poses for use with the Mörser Karl kit or any large-caliber German artillery piece.
