1/200 USS Arizona BB-39  (one time production) - TRUMPETER 03701

The Trumpeter 03701 1/200 USS Arizona BB-39 (1941) is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Trumpeter, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of large-scale warships, 1/35 military vehicles and helicopters, and specialty military subjects.

USS Arizona (BB-39) was a Pennsylvania-class battleship commissioned in 1916 and sunk at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, with the loss of 1,177 men — more than half of all Americans killed that day. The forward magazine explosion that destroyed her was triggered by a Japanese armor-piercing bomb converted from a 16-inch naval shell. The sunken wreck remains on the harbor bottom as an official war grave, with the USS Arizona Memorial spanning her midship section. This 1/200 scale giant renders Arizona in her 1941 Pearl Harbor configuration.
