1/200. USS Enterprise CV-6 - TRUMPETER 03712

The Trumpeter 03712 1/200 USS Enterprise CV-6 is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Trumpeter, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of large-scale warships, 1/35 military vehicles and helicopters, and specialty military subjects.

USS Enterprise (CV-6) — 'The Big E' — was the most decorated US Navy ship of WWII, earning 20 battle stars. She participated in virtually every major Pacific campaign from Pearl Harbor to the final strikes on Japan. At Midway she launched the attack that sank the Japanese carrier Kaga, and she fought at the Eastern Solomons, Santa Cruz, Philippine Sea, and Leyte Gulf. Despite repeated Japanese claims that she had been sunk, Enterprise survived the war and returned home, only to be controversially scrapped in 1958. She remains the ultimate subject for American carrier aviation modelers.
