1/35. UH-1B Huey - TRUMPETER 05111

The Trumpeter 05111 1/35 UH-1B Huey is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Trumpeter, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of large-scale warships, 1/35 military vehicles and helicopters, and specialty military subjects.

The Bell UH-1B Iroquois — universally known as the 'Huey' — is the defining helicopter of the Vietnam War era. The UH-1B was an improved version of the original UH-1A with a more powerful engine, capable of carrying four troops or two stretchers alongside the pilot and crew chief. Used extensively for troop transport, medevac, and command & control, the Huey's distinctive rotor sound became synonymous with the Vietnam War. The UH-1B served from 1961 and saw its most intensive operations from 1965 onwards, becoming one of the most produced military helicopters in history with over 16,000 built across all variants. This new-tool 1/35 kit (released 2024) is the most detailed Huey kit ever produced at this scale.
