1/35. UH-1B Huey - Gunship - TRUMPETER 05112

The Trumpeter 05112 1/35 UH-1B Huey – Gunship is a highly detailed injection-molded plastic model kit from Trumpeter, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its extensive range of large-scale warships, 1/35 military vehicles and helicopters, and specialty military subjects.

The UH-1B Gunship variant converted the utility Huey into a dedicated attack helicopter, initially as an armed escort for troop-carrying helicopters and later in direct fire support roles. Armed with M60 machine guns, 70mm rocket pods, and sometimes 40mm grenade launchers, UH-1B gunships provided the close air support and convoy escort that defined US Army aviation in Vietnam before the dedicated AH-1 Cobra entered service. The gunship Huey established the template for all subsequent attack helicopter development. This kit depicts the gunship variant with full weapons fit options.
