The IBG 1/35 Bedford QLB Bofors Gun Tractor (IBG 35018) depicts the light artillery tractor variant of the Bedford QL, used to tow the ubiquitous 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun for British and Commonwealth AA units.

The 3-ton Bedford QL was one of the most widely used British trucks of the Second World War. Following prototype road tests that began in February 1940, the QL entered production in numerous configurations, and 52,145 examples were built between 1941 and 1945 for British and Commonwealth forces.

Key Features:

  • 1/35 scale injection molded plastic kit configured as a Bofors gun tractor
  • Bedford 28hp six-cylinder engine and chassis reproduced in detail
  • Markings for the 1st AA Artillery Regiment, Polish 1st Armoured Division (Western Europe, winter 1944/45) and 1st Battery, 54th Light AA Artillery Regiment, 11th Armoured Division (France, 1944)

Ideal For:

  • British and Commonwealth anti-aircraft unit collectors
  • Northwest Europe diorama builders
  • Modelers building the full IBG Bedford QL range

The IBG 1/35 Bedford QLB Bofors Gun Tractor pairs naturally with a 40mm Bofors gun kit for a complete AA unit display.
