The Meng Model TS-045 1/35 US Assault Tank M4A3E2 Jumbo. Meng Model is one of the finest 1/35 scale plastic model kit manufacturers in the world today, noted for exceptional detail accuracy and fit quality.

The M4A3E2 'Jumbo' was a specially up-armored assault Sherman produced in only 254 examples specifically for the Normandy campaign. Featuring massive add-on armor — 38mm of additional appliqué plate over the hull front and sides, 150mm of armor on the turret front, and 100mm on the turret sides — the Jumbo was designed to lead assaults against fortified positions that would stop a standard Sherman. At Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge, Jumbos of the 4th Armored Division's relief force proved virtually invulnerable to German anti-tank weapons at combat ranges, giving them a disproportionate tactical impact. Meng's TS-045 captures the Jumbo in definitive detail.

Key Features:

  • Heavy appliqué armor accurately reproduced — massive 150mm turret front and hull additions
  • Complete detail of both 75mm and 76mm turret variants
  • Authentic Jumbo-specific running gear and track detail
  • Photo-etched parts included
  • Multiple paint and marking options with decals
  • Unassembled and unpainted

Ideal For:

  • WWII armor and WWI diorama builders
  • Competition modelers seeking a premium kit
  • Intermediate to advanced scale modelers
  • Meng Model collectors

The TS-045 1/35 US Assault Tank M4A3E2 Jumbo is available at AFVHobbyHub.com.
