The Specialist in "Hidden Gems"
Eastern Express is legendary for its "niche" subject matter. If you are looking for obscure Cold War transporters, rare Soviet prototypes, or specific civil aviation models that shaped the Eastern Bloc, this is your brand. They fill the vital gaps in any collection, offering subjects that mainstream manufacturers often overlook.
A Diverse Range for Every Enthusiast
- Civil Aviation Giants: Eastern Express is a leader in 1/144 scale airliners, featuring an impressive array of Tupolev, Ilyushin, and Antonov aircraft in iconic historical liveries.
- Rugged Soviet Armor: From the early T-26 variants to specialized Cold War AFVs and trucks, their 1/35 scale armor kits capture the industrial, "no-nonsense" aesthetic of Russian military engineering.
- Rotary & Fixed Wing: Their 1/72 scale collection includes a wide variety of helicopters and fighter jets, perfect for builders focused on the history of the Red Air Force. [2]
The Modeler's Project
Eastern Express kits are cherished by "traditional" modelers who enjoy the craft of building. These kits provide a fantastic base for those who love to apply their skills—perfect for practicing seam-filling, scratch-building, or using aftermarket decals like Begemot to create a truly one-of-a-kind replica.
