At www.AFVhobbyhub.com, we proudly support events that bring the modeling community together—not just through competition, but through trading, networking, and sharing the hobby in a more relaxed and social setting.
A Different Kind of Modeling Event
Unlike traditional contests, the IPMS Fayetteville Annual Swap Meet focuses on:
Buying, Selling & Trading
This event gives modelers the opportunity to:
- Sell unwanted kits from their stash
- Trade kits with other hobbyists
- Find rare, discontinued, or hard-to-get items
- Connect directly with vendors and fellow builders
For many modelers, this is the perfect way to refresh their collection and make room for new projects.
Vendor & Setup Information
- Vendor Setup: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Doors Open to Public: 10:00 AM
Vendors and individual sellers alike are encouraged to participate, making this a great opportunity for:
- Hobby retailers
- Independent sellers
- Collectors looking to downsize
- Modelers looking to trade kits
Display Area for Modelers
In addition to the swap meet, the event will also feature:
Display Tables
Modelers are invited to bring:
- Current projects
- Completed builds
- Past award-winning models
This creates a relaxed environment where hobbyists can:
- Share their work
- Discuss techniques
- Inspire others
- Connect with fellow builders
Even without a contest format, the display area keeps the creative side of the hobby front and center.
A Community-Focused Gathering
The IPMS Fayetteville Swap Meet is all about:
- Community interaction
- Hobby networking
- Sharing knowledge
- Encouraging participation
Events like this are perfect for:
- New modelers just entering the hobby
- Experienced builders looking to connect
- Casual hobbyists who enjoy collecting and trading
- Anyone looking to enjoy a laid-back day centered around scale modeling
