Excitement continues to grow for AMPS Florida Con 2026, one of the
Southeast's premier armor modeling events, scheduled for November 7–8, 2026,
in Orlando, Florida. As modelers begin planning their fall travel schedules and
contest entries, AMPS Florida Con is shaping up to be a must-attend gathering
for military vehicle builders, armor enthusiasts, figure painters, and diorama
artists from throughout the country.
Hosted at the impressive Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, this
two-day event will bring together modelers, vendors, aftermarket manufacturers,
and military history enthusiasts for a weekend dedicated to craftsmanship,
learning, and the shared passion for military modeling.
At AFVHobbyHub.com, we proudly support organizations and events
that help grow the hobby through education, competition, and community. AMPS
Florida Con continues to exemplify those values and remains one of the most
anticipated armor-focused events on the 2026 modeling calendar.

Why AMPS Events Stand Out

the organization's judging philosophy.
Unlike many traditional contests, AMPS judging focuses on:
- Construction
quality
- Accuracy
- Finish and
presentation
- Research and
documentation
- Skill
development
The emphasis is on helping modelers improve while receiving meaningful
feedback. This educational approach has made AMPS one of the most respected
modeling organizations in the world.
Builders of all experience levels are encouraged to participate, from
first-time entrants to nationally recognized modelers.
